What you will do
This position focuses on the methodological design, analysis and editorial preparation of consumer-relevant studies and market analyses. The role sits at the intersection of Data Science and business journalism. Data collection and the creation of initial text drafts are largely supported by automated, AI-driven systems. The main responsibility of the role lies in validating results, strategically planning studies and ensuring the qualitative finalisation of publications in collaboration with Comparis subject-matter experts.
Your responsibilities
- Methodological study design: Develop research designs and survey instruments (e.g. questionnaires) based on the thematic and strategic objectives defined by Comparis experts.
- Data interpretation: Analyse and validate evaluations provided by Data Analysts in order to derive relevant market insights.
- Editorial quality assurance: Review and finalise automatically generated draft texts to ensure high editorial quality and precision together with Comparis experts.
- Results preparation: Prepare and structure complex datasets for various publication formats, including media releases, social media content and interactive tools.
What we expect from you
- Academic background: Enrolment in a Master’s degree programme in Social Sciences, Sociology, Psychology or a comparable discipline with a strong quantitative focus.
- Methodological expertise: Solid knowledge of empirical social research methods and the ability to interpret statistical analyses accurately and professionally.
- Language skills: Native-level German with excellent editorial writing skills, as well as good English proficiency.
- Focus of the role: The position is centred on methodological rigour and textual precision. Topic development and technical AI management are not part of the role.
